like to be up higher. I know it's a farther fall if it breaks but I don't need bears fuckin with me in the middle of the night. Take care of it and tie it right, you'll be fine.

my tent behind for the first time...setting my hammock up just like this I will suspend a poncho over top giving myself a pup tent/hammock set up. The whole thing should be very lightweight and take up less space than my tent in my sack.

a hammock with a bug net and a rain fly. They are lighter than most tents and when you get ready to sleep all you have to do is find two trees. Flat spots are a little harder to find.There is a learning curve to getting in and out but once you are situated they are comfy. I was after a tent firs
