want spoilers before you watch the video.
I know he survived, and at the start of part 2, he's woken from the train and then he's in the hospital. But when he's answering questions by the authorities, they lock the door and kill him...but it seemed it was just a dream and he wakes up next to his girlfriend. After that, the next time h
e's shown, his head is in that hidden room with a bunch of others. So I'm missing something there.

ok I gotcha...ok so lets start from the authorities lock the door and kill him~which is a dream, yes, and he wakes up next to his girlfriend. OK, in the morning his girlfriend is shown and you hear a chainsaw noise and a "thud" noise and then girlfriend wakes up noticing her boyfriend isnt in be
d so she goes down in the kitchen and he is sitting there dead and there is no head...
after watching it 3 times, I don't know....thanks, mystery solved :)
